Health officials confirm 7 new H1N1 deaths in Alabama

MONTGOMERY, AL (WAFF) - The state Health Department confirmed Friday there have been seven new deaths due to swine flu in Alabama.
Alabama has now suffered 29 fatalities due to the H1N1 outbreak, according to state health officer Don Williamson.
Three victims were less than 20 years of age. The majority of the fatalities ranged in age from 25 to 64. The remaining eight victims were over 65.
Montgomery and Talladega counties have the highest number of fatalities with three each. Madison County has suffered one fatality.
Alabama health officials are currently distributing H1N1 vaccine to high risk groups at county health departments.
