Health official: the benefit of avian influenza in the face of swine flu

Dr. Amr Kandil and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for the prevention, have been made two years ago, a comprehensive plan to address the bird flu and benefited from the Ministry of Health in the face of disease, swine flu in order to tighten control and maintain the health of citizens.
Qandeel said before the Committee on Agriculture and Irrigation PA on Sunday evening, during discussion of the requests for briefing on the disease, swine flu and what the state plan in the standoff, said that doctors were deployed in the sea and land ports and air outlet 33 to the amount of control from the States where the disease appeared and the 39 countries have so far, and that the suspect was traveling in the 22 laboratory tests have proved all who go, stressing that the ministry is not limited to inspection of work to come, but when following the situation for a period of seven days to ensure the safety said.
He said that the ministry is to observe the patients for the detection of any medical condition at the four types of diseases, the avian flu and swine flu, pneumonia and infections of influenza-like symptoms.
He focused his speech on the importance of public awareness of the seriousness of these diseases, and that during the next three days we can expect to see advertising campaigns on the means of transport on the symptoms of influenza and its prevention.

أكد الدكتور عمرو قنديل وكيل وزارة الصحة لشئون الوقاية، أنه تم إعداد خطة شاملة منذ عامين لمواجهة مرض أنفلونزا الطيور واستفادت منها وزارة الصحة فى مواجهة مرض أنفلونزا الخنازير من أجل تشديد الرقابة والحفاظ على صحة المواطنين.

وقال قنديل أمام لجنة الزراعة والرى بمجلس الشعب مساء اليوم الأحد خلال مناقشتها لطلبات إحاطة حول مرض إنفلونزا الخنازير ومعرفة خطة الدولة فى المواجهة، إن الأطباء انتشروا فى المنافذ البحرية والبرية والجوية البالغة 33 منفذا لمراقبة القادمين من الدول التى ظهر فيها المرض وعددها 39 دولة حتى الآن، وأنه تم الاشتباه فى 22 مسافرا أثبتت التحاليل المعملية سلبيتهم جميعا، مؤكدا أن الوزارة لا يقتصر عملها على الفحص عند القدوم بل تتابع الحالة لمدة سبعة أيام للتأكد من سلامة القادم.

وذكر أن الوزارة تقوم بالترصد المرضى لاكتشاف أى حالة مرضية إزاء أربعة أنواع من الأمراض وهى أنفلونزا الطيور وأنفلونزا الخنازير والالتهاب الرئوى والأمراض الشبيهة بأعراض الأنفلونزا.

وركز فى حديثه على أهمية الوعى الجماهير بخطورة تلك الأمراض، وأنه خلال الأيام الثلاثة القادمة سنشاهد حملات إعلانية على وسائل النقل حول أعراض الأنفلونزا وإجراءات الوقاية.
