Dr. Abdel Rahman Shahin - Spokesman for the Ministry of Health - to follow up and monitor the Ministry of swine influenza virus resulted in the discovery (218) confirmed cases of the disease during the last week in the period from 12/12/2010 until Saturday, 18/12/2010.

According to laboratory results to monitor Aalmrd that the rate of spread of influenza virus A/H1N1 in the limits of averages for seasonal flu, this was the total cases during the period from October 2010 until now (533) of them (30) and death compared to the number (10 599) of them (134) deaths during the same period from October to December 2009.

Therefore, the Ministry of Health advises citizens in the event of injury, symptoms of influenza request medical advice, especially for children, the elderly, pregnant women and those who have chronic diseases (diseases of the chest and heart - kidney disease - liver disease - diabetes) as the drug Tamiflu, the custom of the treatment available free of charge Hospitals and the Ministry of Health, as well as available in private pharmacies.

This is in addition to the adoption of preventive measures and proper rules of personal hygiene and public for the prevention of influenza are:

الصحة : اكتشاف 218 حالة مؤكدة لمرض الأنفلونزا A/H1N1 خلال الأسبوع الماضي

أعلن الدكتور عبد الرحمن شاهين - المتحدث الرسمى باسم وزارة الصحة - أن متابعة وترصد الوزارة لفيروس أنفلونزا الخنازير أسفرت عن اكتشاف (218 ) حالة مؤكدة للمرض خلال الأسبوع الماضي في الفترة من 12/12/2010 حتى أمس السبت الموافق 18/12/2010 , وتفيد النتائج المعملية لترصد االمرض أن معدل انتشار فيروس الأنفلونزا A/H1N1 في حدود المعدلات الطبيعية للأنفلونزا الموسمية , هذا وقد بلغ إجمالي الحالات خلال الفترة من أكتوبر 2010 حتى الآن ( 533) حالة منهم ( 30 ) وفاة مقارنة بعدد ( 10599 ) حالة منهم ( 134 ) حالة وفاة خلال نفس الفترة من أكتوبر حتى ديسمبر 2009 .

لذا فإن وزارة الصحة تنصح المواطنين في حالة الإصابة بأعراض الأنفلونزا بطلب المشورة الطبية خصوصا للأطفال وكبار السن والسيدات الحوامل ومن لديهم أمراض مزمنة ( أمراض الصدر والقلب ? أمراض الكلى ? أمراض الكبد ? داء السكر ) حيث أن عقار التاميفلو المخصص للعلاج متوفر بالمجان بمستشفيات وزارة الصحة وكذلك متاح في الصيدليات الخاصة .

هذا بالإضافة إلى إتباع الإجراءات الوقائية السليمة وقواعد النظافة الشخصية والعامة للوقاية من الأنفلونزا وهى :

" غسيل الأيدي بالماء والصابون باستمرار ? تغطية الأنف والفم أثناء السعال والعطس ? التهوية الجيدة فى أماكن المعيشة وأماكن العمل ? الحرص على النظافة المستمرة للأسطح والأرضيات ? تجنب الأماكن المزدحمة " .
