Neighbors in several municipalities in Quich? have reported that health centers do not provide medicine, so they have to buy their own, which will generate more spending.
"We are poor, so we use the state health services, but we were surprised to find that there is nothing," said Anselmo Lee, a resident of the provincial capital.
She explained that her six-month-old suffered an intestinal infection and was confident that the Health Center will provide drugs to cure it, but it was not and had to buy it.
No vaccine
