250 down with diarrhoea in Haryana village
Ambala, Jun 20 : More than 250 people, including women and children, were in the grip of diarrhoea in village Thakurpura Kalalti under Mullana PS in this district.


The disease has taken the shape of an epidemic for the last two-three days. It was detected by the Community Health Centre Mullana from where a team of doctors headed by SMO Kuldip Rana reached the affected villages.

The children were much affected and three of them were in serious condition. They were referred to the civil hospital Ambala City.

About 40 patients were administered glucose.

2 Sonipat girls die of diarrhoea

ROHTAK: Two minor girls suffering from diarrhoea died shockingly after the ignorant parents refused their treatment and took their disease as effect of some evil sprit in Vikas Nagar locality of Sonipat on Wednesday night.

Though, they were admitted to a hospital after their condition deteriorated due to vomiting and dysentery, the parents got the girls discharged from the hospital in the evening itself before they recovered from the illness.
