HANOVER, Ont. - A doctor says there's no evidence that handwashing levels have had any impact on a C. difficile outbreak at Hanover and District Hospital.
Dr. Neil Stretch says hospital staff are disheartened by the ongoing outbreak ? and handwashing isn't making a big difference.
Stretch says handwashing is valuable to reinforce general hygiene, but has failed to break the stubborn outbreak that began last November...
