9:26 P.M. ? AT THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC BORDER ? A crush of earthquake survivors swarmed the border of the Dominican Republic on Monday, attempting to flee Port-au-Prince and surrounding areas.

Cars lined up for hours just to make it to the immigration office, and a horde piled up abou a mile, honking and blaring music.

Thousands crowd to the border between Haiti and the Dominican Republic on Monday January 18, 2010. Most were trying to cross to flee Port-au-Prince after last week's earthquake.
