So I have been thinking about this and was wondering if governments will categorize deaths that, while not directly caused by H1N1, are indirectly caused by H1N1.
For example, take all the hospitals in Austrialia that are currently filling up. Well a side effect of that is that patients that would otherwise get care or surgery cannot be the resources aren't available. This could very well be the case for some elderly. While H1N1 infect them and kill these people, they might ultimately die due to the effect H1N1 is having on the their local healthcare community.
So shouldn't these deaths, the ones where people would have normally survived if not for H1N1 be classified as H1N1 related deaths?
