A Minnehaha County man in his 60s is the fourth South Dakota resident to die from the H1N1 influenza this season and the second this week.

Lon Kightlinger, state epidemiologist in Pierre, confirmed the man?s death Thursday.

H1N1 also took the life of an 8-year-old Rapid City boy Sunday. Previously, two adults died from the virus, one each from Shannon and Todd counties. They were in their 30s and 40s.
