KING COUNTY, WA -- A Seattle man in his 70's who had multiple underlying health conditions died last Thursday from complications of H1N1 influenza.The death is the first reported H1N1 death inKing County.Tests from the state lab confirmed Monday that the man had the H1N1 virus.The death is the third in the state.In all, 47 people have been hospitalized and 524 people have been confirmed with H1N1 influenza in King County.Last week, the World Health Organization officially declared the flu a pandemic because the virus has spread widely around the world.
