H1N1 Death Confirmed In Cattaraugus County

The Cattaraugus County Health Department is reporting that laboratory testing has confirmed that a recent death of a county resident did in fact test positive of the H1N1 virus.

The adult female reportedly also has underlying medical conditions.

This is the first death in Cattaraugus County that has been linked to the H1N1 virus since the outbreak began back in April.

No other information is being released due to privacy laws.
