H1N1 Claims Life of Young Boy

Little Rock, AR - A young Texarkana boy is the latest victim to the H1N1 virus, also known as the Swine Flu.

The Pulaski County Coroner says six-year-old, Diamauri Hobbs of Texarkana died around 2:30 this afternoon at a Little Rock Hospital.

LITTLE ROCK, ARK. — Authorities say a 6-year-old Texarkana, Texas, boy has died at a Little Rock hospital of swine flu.

Pulaski County Coroner Garland Camper says Diamauri Hobbs died at Arkansas Children's Hospital about 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Camper says Hobbs had other health problems that included a compromised respiratory system.

Arkansas has lost it’s sixth person to the H1N1 flu. Diamauri Hobbs, 6, of Texarkana died yesterday afternoon in a Little Rock hospital.

Little information is known at this time regarding Hobbs. It is not known if he had any other health issues such as asthma or diabetes.
