Another case of the H1N1 flu has been confirmed in Allegheny County.

The latest case surfaced at West View Elementary School in the North Hills School District.

A fourth-grader contracted the virus, but the student is now in good health.

Officials advise anyone with flu like symptoms to see a doctor.

H1N1 case confirmed at West View Elementary
[FONT=verdana,helvetica][SIZE=-1]On Friday, June 12, 2009, the Allegheny County Health Department informed the North Hills School District that a fourth grader at West View Elementary had contracted the H1N1 virus ? also known as the swine flu. According to the health department, the student?s symptoms were mild and the student is now in good health.

If you or any member of your family experience flu-like symptoms, you are encouraged to contact your family physician. As always, the best defense against communicable disease is proper hand-washing.
