Guanajuato concentrates 10% of deaths from influenza A H1N1

In 31 cases, the Guanajuato state accounts for 10% of deaths in the country for influenza A H1N1, according to statistics from the Ministry of Health.
Most occurred from September to date, with 27 deaths.
The state health secretary, Jorge Armando Aguirre Torres, reported that it has provided 250 beds in intensive care for patients affected by the virus, in 15 general hospitals.
He accepted that Guanajuato is facing a second wave of human influenza, with an incidence of 56 cases confirmed thousand, of these 352 in the city of Leon, putting him in position 21 of statistics from the Federal Ministry of Health.
But it is an entity with an increased mortality with respect to the 314 confirmed fatalities nationwide, as reflected in the Internet portal of the Health Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic.
"We are now in the winter season across the country, and the state of Guanajuato is no exception for an increase in the number of cases, the risk of hospitalizations and deaths," said Aguirre Torres.
In this entity, he added, that in real time informing the public and the federal Health Secretariat own deaths "immediately, which is not happening in other states of the republic."
"I can report that the 31 deaths that have occurred in the state are not due to lack of infrastructure or equipment of the health system, are prepared in advance since the beginning of the contingency," materialized.
The owner said health were recruited over 200 physicians and nurses, which will be 2 thousand people on staff for actions or seasonal human influenza.
