Something possibly very significant in today's figures just posted by Google. Last week all states were very clearly down. In the latest update today the following states have risen slightly compared to last week: Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, D.C, Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Nebraska, Nevada, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah.
Will monitor closely in the coming days to see if this is the start of a real trend. Up to now Google has been very good at spotting direction changes accurately.
You need to download the data to get sufficient resolution. And Google only has two days worth of data for the current week (Sunday and Monday) so you should not expect the figures to be that different from the previous week yet (that's why all Google trends appear to flatten at the start of the week) but the increases are definitely there (some states more obvious than others). The next few days will tell the story.
