Note: WHO announced a confirmed H5N1 Egypt case on January 19, 2012 from October 31, 2011 discovered through periodic testing of samples collected from ILI outpatients from sentinel ILI surveillance sites - a 2 year old girl that apparently recovered with standard ILI out-patient care.
