قررت محافظة الجيزة تشكيل لجنتين الأولى لمواجهة جائحة أو وباء أنفلونزا الخنازير والثانية لمكافحة مرض الطاعون فى حالة ظهوره. Giza governorate decided to set up the first two to face the pandemic flu or pigs, the second to combat the plague in the event of disease emergence.
وتضمنت لجنة الجائحة مديريات الصحة والطب البيطرى والزراعة والتموين والبيئة والشرطة والجمعيات الأهلية المعنية بالصحة ومنها جمعية الهلال الأحمر، ويرأسها مباشرة محافظ الجيزة. The directorates of the Commission on pandemic health and veterinary medicine, agriculture, and supply, environment, police and NGOs on health, including the Red Crescent Society, is headed by a governor directly Giza.
وقال الدكتور عصام رمضان خبير الصحة بالأمم المتحدة وعضو جمعية الهلال الأحمر، إن اللجنة وضعت خطة خاصة تتضمن سرعة التصرف فى حالة انتشار الوباء إقليمياً ووضع الحجر الصحى وكيفية الإخلاء الفورى، وتوفير المستشفيات الكافية وتحويل مراكز الشباب إلى مستشفيات ميدانية فى حالة زيادة أعداد المصابين ووضع الطوارئ اللازمة، "Said Dr Issam Ramadan, United Nations health expert and a member of the Red Crescent Society, said that the Committee has a special plan includes expeditious disposition of the case of the spread of the epidemic and the development of a regional quarantine and how the immediate evacuation, and the provision of adequate hospitals and the transfer of youth centers to field hospitals in the event of an increase in the numbers of infected and develop the necessary emergency ,
مضيفاً أن تتضمن كذلك تخزين كميات كبيرة من دواء التاميفلو فى مخازن تابعة للوحدات الصحية تحت حراسة أمنية مشددة لمنع تسريبها والسطو عليها كما قامت اللجنة كذلك بالتعاون مع مباحث التموين بإجراء تفتيش صيدلى واسع على كل الصيدليات ومصانع بير السلم والمخازن المجهولة للكشف عن أى كميات مهربة من التاميفلو أو كميات فاسدة تم استيرادها من الخارج. He pointed out that the governor decided to set up a committee as well as other departments of health, veterinary medicine and agriculture for control of rodents and mosquitoes, fleas and insect vectors of disease, the preservation of neighborhoods in anticipation of an outbreak of plague at any time, also discussed the methods of fishing and the use of poisons and environment-friendly pesticide spraying compliant with environmental requirements and health.
وحذر رمضان من خطورة العملات المعدنية والورقية على مستخدميها فى نقل مرض أنفلونزا الخنازير بين البشر خاصة أن العملات والنقود تتنقل بين جميع فئات المجتمع لا فرق بين عامل النظافة أو المواطن المصرى أو المسؤولين بالدولة، حتى الأطفال الصغار وأوضح أن التلوث الفيروسى الموجود بالعملة لديه القدرة على الاحتفاظ به لمدة ٤٨ ساعة.
