أصدرت مديرية الطب البيطرى بمحافظة الجيزة، تقريرها الشهرى " 15 أكتوبر إلى 15 نوفمبر" بشأن حملات المرور على أماكن بيع اللحوم والطيور الحية داخل أحياء محافظة الجيزة، وذلك بالتعاون مع مباحث التموين ومراكز الشرطة، وأشار التقرير إلى أنه تم تحرير 221 محضرا لهم، بإجمالى إعدام 3431 داجة، كما تم مداهمة 140 عشة وذبح290 طائرا.
وأكد التقرير أنه تم تحرير 31 محضر بـخمسة أطنان و89 كجم لحم مذبوحة خارج المجازر الحكومية ولحوم فاسدة ودواجن تم مصادرتها لصالح المديرية، السوبر ماركت والمطاعم والمنشآت السياحية، كما تم المرور على الفنادق والمستشفيات الحكومية والخاصة.لفحص واستلام 21 طنا و345 كجم دواجن ولحوم .
كما أشار التقرير إلى إعدام 94 كلبا من خلال تلقى 65 شكوى عن الكلاب الضالة والطيور المنزلية.
