Gila County girl's death attributed to flu

The death last week of a 6-year-old girl from Gila County has been attributed to the flu.

Arizona Department of Health Services reported Friday that the child fell victim to a strand of flu called Influenza B.

It was the first pediatric flu fatality this season. ADHS reported 9 pediatric flu deaths last season.
