Saudi Food and Drug Administration banned, temporarily, the import of poultry meat and eggs and their products and Ottaghizzathma of four areas in the State of Ghana; because of the spread of bird flu disease in which high intensity.

Areas covered by the ban included both: Accra, Volta and Ashanti, the upper and eastern region.

And it excluded the "body" of the temporary ban on poultry meat, eggs and their products treated thermally or in any other way capable of eradicating bird flu virus, to be matched with the requirements and health regulations and standards adopted, with attachments health certificate proving that the product is treated thermally or in any other way capable of Elimination of the bird flu virus, and be issued by the competent official authorities in Ghana.

He pointed out that the temporary ban will continue until the stability of the health status of livestock, and the adoption of export of poultry meat and products where facilities.
