Ingolstadt (DK) the being rife influenza wave has also reached Ingolstadt for a long time. Till yesterday 36 positive findings were announced to the urban health centre up to now. Most ill suffer according to Dr. Christa B?chl, doctor from the health centre, from Influenza A or that of the type H1N1, known also as a pork influenza.

Only this week seven real influenza cases were announced to the urban health authorities.
The illness suddenly begins. It is accompanied by high fever, headaches and rheumatic pains, mostly strong and prolonged cough and a heavy illness feeling. Who feels these symptoms, should stay at home if at all possible not to be infectious other, advises the public health officer. Above all young people (age group of three to 20 years) and people are concerned between 40 and 60 years. Influenza cases with bosses were barely announced up to now. What might be due to the fact in the opinion of the doctor that older people can be often inoculated against influenza.
