42-year-old Woman Dies in Ghudushauri Clinic From Swine Flu

The cause of a 42-year-old woman?s death in Ghudushauri clinic was so called swine flu, head of the contagious disease department of the disease control and public healthcare national centre Khatuna Zakhashvili told InterPressNews .
She says that it was laboratory-confirmed swine flu case. She says that there have been 72 laboratory-confirmed cases of swine flu for the flu season in Georgia, 5 out of them had B type viruses, others - swine flu. Three of them were fatal.

5th death from so called swine flu has been confirmed in Georgia after December, head of the scientific council of the national disease control centre Paata Imnadze told InterPressNews .
He informs that 143 people have been infected from November, 133 with A and 10 - with B type virus.

H1N1 viral infection has caused death of a three year-old child. The patient suffered from a grave form of leukemia and she was held at the hospital for a long period of time, though only five days ago the doctors set her diagnosis that she was infected with H1N1.
