Warga Sememi Dites Kesehatan Lagi
KEDUA kalinya, petugas Puskesmas Sememi memeriksa kesehatan Munadji, pemilik unggas yang positif flu burung, bersama dengan warga yang rumahnya radius 100 meter. Itu dilakukan untuk mengantisipasi kemungkinan mereka tertular virus H5N1 dari unggas milik Munadji.
"Ada 15 warga yang diperiksa kesehatannya, termasuk Munadji," kata Koordinator Survei Epidemiologi Puskesmas Sememi Ahmad Hatta.

Seperti diberitakan, Munadji, warga Griya Citra Asri mengaku bila 14 ekor unggasnya mati mendadak hanya dalam dua hari. Kejadian tersebut dilaporkan ke kelurahan setempat dan diteruskan ke Dinas Perikanan, Kelautan, Peternakan, Pertanian, dan Kehutanan (DPKP2K). Setelah dites, ternyata unggas yang mati mendadak itu positif terkena virus AI. Besoknya, petugas DPKP2K melakukan pemusnahan. Totalnya 13 ekor ayam, 7 burung, 5 anak ayam, dan 1 bebek, plus puluhan telur ayam.

"Kami juga akan kembali memberikan penyuluhan ke masyarakat Kamis besok (13/9, Red). Kami bekerja sama dengan puskesmas, kelurahan, dan kecamatan," jelasnya.
Meanwhile, Ketua Kesehatan Hewan and Kesehatan Masyarakat Veteriner DPKPPK Surabaya drh Yetty Rizal say they have already coordinated with Puskesmas Sememi to do disinfectin. "We also will return to give information to the community Thursday, morrow (13/9, Red). We will work together with the puskesmas, kelurahan, and kecamatan," he clarified.
Penyuluhan itu bertujuan meluruskan persepsi masyarakat mengenai vaksinasi. Ternyata, periode Juni-Juli lalu, RW II Sememi menolak, unggasnya divaksinasi. Sebab, ada unggas yang mati setelah divaksinasi. "Kami ingin menjelaskan, vaksinasi tidak membuat unggas mati," kata Yetty. "Jika memang kejadian seperti itu, berarti unggasnya yang sudah sakit," lanjutnya.
