Possible TB case reported at east Bibb daycare

A state health agency is investigating a possible case of tuberculosis at an east Bibb County daycare.

Jennifer Jones of the North Central Health District says they're preparing a letter to be sent home to parents of more than 130 children.

She said the agency is recommending that those children be tested...

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - There is a confirmed care of Tuberculosis in middle Georgia.

Health Officials confirm a 9 month old has the disease. The child attends daycare at Neighborhood Academy in Macon. Officials said there are three pending cases of TB and it's possible that they're related.

Dr. David Harvey, District Health Director, said it's possible that it could have been a daycare worker that worked within the academy...
