Lowndes County Whooping Cough Concerns
With the growing number of whopping cough cases rising in South Georgia, health officials are reminding residents to get vaccinated.

South Health District says Pertussis, also known as the whopping cough, symptoms are often like the common cold.
Health Officials say in the summer of 2010 there were 20 cases of Pertussis in Tift County and 5 in Brooks County.
Recently two cases have been confirmed in Lowndes County...
