I did a quick translation for our French speakers. Thanks to SteveoSteen who first found out that the French Health Minister was visiting Egypt today with a bunch of scientists, to ascertain the situation there.
CAIRO, Feb 18 (KUNA) -- Egyptian Health Minister Hatem Al-Gabali denied here Sunday that mutation might take place in some bird flu cases in Egypt.

The Egyptian minister was speaking at a joint news conference with his visiting French counterpart Xavier Bertrand, affirming the good effect of Tamiflu drug in the medical treatment of bird flu cases.
He added that Egyptian-French cooperation in the fight against bird flu included the French provision of masks to prevent the further outbreak of the killer disease, especially for those who directly deal with birds or infected human cases.
