The Prepared Pantry offers a free ebook cook book. I was a bit skeptical but have received two chapters now and really like it. So much so, I'm printing it out (in color) and putting it in a binder for easy reference.

How it works is that you go to their website http://www.preparedpantry.com/ and click on the free book. You can download chapter one (How to Bake) immediately.

Every few weeks you will receive another chapter via email for download along with the weekly special offer. They have not bombarded me with emails so far and I really like the recipes.

I will admit to purchasing a couple of their mixes. The scones looked too good to pass on.

Re: Free Cookbook via email

A couple of people have asked how to bake bread, this company says they offer a free course. Cool If someone tries this please tell us what you think of the class.

Re: Free Cookbook via email

Keep in mind there are plenty of videos out on the web. Here is URL that returns all the videos listed on YouTube that deal with baking bread There appears to be a lot of cooking videos as well.
