Formula milk fails health test in HCMC

Ho Chi Minh City heath officials have sealed 660 kilograms of Babysan-branded formula after finding the number of microorganisms in the milk exceeded the safe level fixed by the health ministry.
Inspectors of the city?s Health Department said Friday they have ordered Binh Viet Duc Company, based in Tan Binh District, to suspend producing Babysan 1 Plus DHA milk for babies 0-6 months old.
The inspectors have also asked Phat An Khang Company, based in District 6, to temporarily stop its operation after finding its product ? Myty bottled water - had more microorganisms than allowed.
