Yesterday on twitter we issued a disease alert for Vietnam. There are simply more diseases and disease events than we have ever seen since we opened FT in February 2006.
This alert also extends to adjacent countries as diseases do not respect borders. Concerning us are China and Cambodia.
As I personally news hound in China, I can verify that it is almost impossible to find any disease events and/or reporting in that country now. We have to infer from countries that border China for information.
