FluMist or regular flu shot?

Last year I had all members of my family who fell within the age specifications (5-50 yrs) get immunized for the regular flu with "FluMist", an trivalent, nasally administered attenuated live flu virus vaccine having both hemagglutainin (HA) and neuraminidase (NA) components -- A-H3N2, A-H1N1 and a B flu virus. Because this can give some people the flu with virus shedding, etc, it is possible that those living in the immunized person's environment can also catch the flu from them. If you have family members or coworkers with compromised immune systems, you probably shouldn't do this or you should take steps to sequester yourself from them... If I remember correctly. there were good arguments for the live attenuated virus, foremost of which is that the flu shot doesn't have the Neuraminidase component and especially not the N1 component. I was looking for a pan-flu survival edge especially for those younger than 37 yr.

If anyone remembers the arguments for or against flumist, would you please list them out so we can see what our new members with medical training think. I'd appreciate it greatly.
