Flu Spreads in Hefei

Hospitals are overloaded with patients suffering from an influenza epidemic which has swept Hefei, the capital city of Anhui province since the Spring Festival holiday.
In early February, the number of flu cases jumped 55.06 percent over the same period in January, according to the municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
"We treat two to three hundred patients a day on average now. Most of them catch the flu," said a doctor with the respiratory clinic of Hefei No.1 Hospital.
