Flu shot absentees get second chance
Those who missed the first round of vaccination against swine flu can go in two weeks? time.
The Netherlands ? Children and family members of babies younger than six months who missed last week?s first round of inoculations against swine flu will get a second chance to be vaccinated in two weeks? time.
The extra round of vaccination was announced by the Dutch ministry of health services and is opened to children aged between six months and five years and the family members of babies younger than six months.
On 14 December, the planned second round of jabs will be given to people who were inoculated in the first round.
Seventy percent of young children and their family members turned up last week to be vaccinated against the A(H1N1) flu.
