Flu outbreak in Sudanese refugee camp in Chad
DJABAL CAMP

(7 Dec.) -

Flu is now endemic to Djabal Camp for Sudanese refugees in eastern Chad, a doctor at the camp told Radio Dabanga. He said that since last week the health center at the camp received visits from between 30 to 40 children who were ill. The doctor advised that the cause the outbreak has to do with the sudden change in weather with a significant reduction in the average temperature. The doctor advised refugees in the camp to avoid crowded areas and pollution, and to prevent cold.
