PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ―

<DL class="cbstv_article_images cbstv_img_border" sizset="4" sizcache="0"><DT>An Atlantic City elementary school will close its doors for the rest of the work after more than half of the students and faculty were absent due to flu-like symptoms.

Our Lady Star of the Sea Regional School will close until November 9 after 112 students, eight teachers and five staff members were out sick on Monday.

The students, faculty and staff have reported flu-like symptoms, including elevated temperatures, sore throat and cough. According to school officials, several students have been tested by family physicians and received positive results for the H1N1 virus.

Officials said the entire school will be cleaned and disinfected and the school will reopen next Monday.
