The Deputy Minister of Health, Nila Heredia, said Sunday that while it is important to get vaccinated against influenza A-H1N1, the disease is stationary it is not necessary to make a massive campaign, moreover, that the dose has the potential to generate some kind allergic reaction and a lot of pain in the arm.
"We must understand that influenza A-H1N1 is stationary and will remain in our environment so it is not convenient to mass vaccinate, only for people at risk (...) There is an international campaign against the vaccine, but like all vaccines that have a chance to react. "
For the government authority, the vaccine is not counter but generates allergic reactions, however face Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI) this virus is secondary.
"Until last week the health centers have recorded 54 000 cases of IRAs, and six cases comprised of A-H1N1."
Heredia said that while vaccination is important is not compulsory and stressed the importance of people to be aware that you may have an allergic reaction to the dose.
