I noticed that Florida gives data from several sources,

I would take the first 3 indicators (other samples too small,
#counties that report... is subjective) and take the average :

2.6/2.8+4.8/3.8+65.2/55.4 = ~12% increase in week 51

surprising how Florida stays so low with the surrounding states
(probably) peaking already.
Should we assign an extra-region to Florida rather than lumbing
it in to region 4 ?
Also amazing the long RSV-season in Florida

Florida is a unique place in the United States. It is a peninsula so we do not have the crisscross of highways, rivers, etc. that is typical in most other states. Also, we are an international destination. We had 87.3 million visitors in 2011 which is more than 4 times our population of approximately 19 million. I would expect this inflow of visitors has an impact on our overall disease surveillance and numbers.
