Florida Department of Health officials plan to give an update this morning on the state of cholera and dengue fever in Florida.
Last week, the first locally acquired case of dengue fever in Miami-Dade County in more than 50 years was confirmed. Health officials warned people to take precautions against the mosquitoes that carry it.
Earlier this month, the health department asked doctors statewide to be prepared for possible cholera cases here ...
