PBC man is state?s 4th case of mosquito-born disease chikungunya

Palm Beach Post Staff Writer
Health officials have verified the state?s fourth case of the mosquito-borne disease chikungunya fever, and this one is in Palm Beach County. All four people contracted the disease in the Caribbean and became ill days later in Florida, said Tim O?Connor, spokesman for the Palm Beach County Health Department.
