One Palm Beach County skilled nursing facility outbreak of influenza A was reported in week 16. There have been 26 influenza or ILI outbreaks and four respiratory outbreaks reported in the 2010-11 influenza season. Most of these outbreaks have been in nursing homes and long-term care facilities. Influenza A H3 or 2009 H1N1 have been implicated in PCR confirmed outbreaks.
