Fish Virus Taking Over Wisconsin Waters
A deadly fish virus has been found in inland Wisconsin waters causing quite a nervous scene for fishermen and consumers.
The virus has been labeled as a ?MAJOR CRISIS? as it can cause anemia as well as hemorrhaging in fish.
The Department of Natural Resources has already stated it does not believe humans are at risk but the fish population is at a severe risk.
Boating restrictions have already been put in place to stop fishermen and boaters from moving live fish around in the waters and out of the waters.
Before leaving Wisconsin?s Great Lakes waters as well as the Mississippi River they are being forced to drain any water from their boat and live wells to keep it from spreading and causing harm.
This is a severe problem with no immediate solution other than containment.
