The first death in Taiwan! 60-year-old man died of new crown pneumonia

New crown pneumonia today (16th) 2 new local cases, also the first death! The Central Epidemic Epidemic Command Center announced on the 16th that two new cases of new coronary pneumonia were confirmed in China. The first case was a male over 60 years old, had a history of hepatitis B and diabetes, no history of traveling abroad, and no known cases were confirmed. Contacts died of pneumonia and sepsis in the evening on the 15th. Commander Chen Shizhong also said, "This can be regarded as a community infection." Because there is no travel history, he is currently looking for the source of the infection.
The first case had a cough on January 27, and went to the hospital for a short breath on February 3 and was diagnosed with pneumonia. The patient was admitted to the negative pressure intensive care unit on the same day. The case died of pneumonia combined with sepsis on the evening of February 15th. With the consent of his family, his body will be cremated in accordance with legal infectious disease regulations, and some specimens will be reserved for further examination. The second case was the first case of a male family in his 50s who was diagnosed after a checkup yesterday. The current case is asymptomatic and is admitted to a negative pressure isolation ward.
