Gridley, Calif. -
Pandemic H1N1 flu (swine flu) has claimed the life of a Butte County man who was over 65 years old and had multiple underlying health conditions, Butte County Health Officer Mark Lundberg announced today.
"Our heartfelt sympathies go out to the victim's family," Lundberg said. "His death is a sad reminder that the pandemic H1N1 flu, while usually causing mild to moderate illness, can lead to serious illness and death for some people."
