Tests results from the patient treated at Meilahti Hospital have confirmed that he does not have the deadly Ebola virus.

The Helsinki and Uusimaa Hospital District (HUS) said renewed tests carried out in a foreign laboratory came out negative.
Following the confirmation, the patient will no longer be treated in isolation and the treatment unit will be transferred to normal operations.
