Another male patient with an orthopoxviral infection has been reported at Helsinki University Hospital (HUS). The monkeypox virus belongs to the genus of orthopoxviruses, but the second monkeypox infection had not been confirmed as of Wednesday afternoon.

Finland's first monkeypox infection was confirmed at HUS on 26 May. The second probable infection was also acquired on a journey to Europe and the individual is in home care...
