Ministry to receive details of disease outbreak

The Health Ministry will now be able to receive details of outbreak of any disease from any Nursing station or Health Center around the country much quicker with assistance of mobile phone technology which was launched yesterday.

National Advisor Communicable Diseases Dr Eric Rafai confirmed the World Health Organization funded a successful pilot project which was conducted for about a month using about 10 mobile phones...
