When I search UK sequences, 238 come up. The only way to determine if there are fatalities is to open the link each of the isolates and see if it's included in the patient information.
If the sample came from a lung "autopsy", then that's usually as much confirmation as we get (other than those 4 Ukraine sequences that actually noted the patient died). I'm not even sure if "biopsy" can be considered to be from dead people, as live people often have biopsies for other reasons. Maybe one of our medical people can address that?
I'm always curious how people can look at these sequences and say positively that the cases were mild, severe or deceased.
