May 2, 2011 - Taylor Farms Pacific, Inc. of Tracy, CA has been notified by grower Six L?s that a specific lot of grape tomatoes supplied to Taylor Farms Pacific may be contaminated with Salmonella. This product has been recalled by Six L's.

This lot of grape tomatoes was used in the following products made by Taylor Farms Pacific for Albertsons, Raley's, Safeway, Savemart, Sam's Club, & Walmart and is being voluntarily recalled as a precautionary measure. No illnesses have been reported.

April 29, 2011 - Six L's of Immokalee, Fla. is voluntarily recalling a single lot of grape tomatoes, because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella...

The specific lot was packed on April 11 and was comprised of grape tomatoes that can be identified by Cherry Berry lot code DW-H in either in clam shells or 20 lbs. cardboard containers. The product was distributed to North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Michigan, Pennsylvania, California, Georgia and Canada, and reached consumers through retail stores and restaurant distribution.

The contamination was detected through a random sample obtained by the USDA at a distributor in New York. The product is from a farm in Estero, Fla. which has since ceased production of that commodity.

The recall does not include any other tomatoes or produce distributed by Six L's.

The recalled kabobs were sold between April 26, 2011 and May 3, 2011 and have a Sell By Date up to and including May 3, 2011. The kabobs were sold in Safeway, Vons, Pavilions and Pak N Save stores in Arizona, California, Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, South Dakota and Southwest Washington State.

Taylor Farms Pacific, a Tracy, Calif., establishment, is recalling approximately 22,000 pounds of ready-to-eat fresh salad products that contain meat and poultry because the grape tomatoes used in these products may be contaminated with Salmonella, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today...

The products subject to recall in packaging for consumers include:

6.5-oz. plastic trays of "Marketside Chef Salad" with a use-by date of "5/2/11," and the case code "10210276."
5.25-oz. plastic trays of "Marketside Cobb Salad" with a use-by date of "5/6/11," and the case code "10210277."
12-oz. plastic trays of "Signature Cafe BLT Salad with Chicken" with a use-by date of "4/27/11," and the case code "10218631."
12-oz. plastic trays of "Signature Cafe Cobb Salad" with a use-by date of "4/27/11" or "4/28/11," and the case code "10218625."
11-oz. plastic trays of "Signature Cafe Chef Salad" with a use-by date of "4/27/11," and the case code "10218627."

Each package bears a label with the establishment number "EST. 34013" or "P-34013" inside the USDA mark of inspection and the use-by date as noted above. Del Monte Fresh Produce N.A. Inc. Voluntarily Recalls Grape Tomatoes Grown by Six L?s Packing Due to Potential Health Risk
May 9, 2011 - Del Monte Fresh Produce N.A., Inc. (?Del Monte Fresh?) of Coral Gables, has been advised that a limited number of grape tomatoes in a specific lot of grape tomatoes grown in Florida by Six L?s Packing Company in Immokalee, Florida may be contaminated with Salmonella. The grape tomatoes may have been used in 63 cases of Vegetable Trays and Veg. Trio sold in Roche Bros. Supermarkets in the state of Massachusetts under the brand ROCHE BROS.

There has been no illness reported related to this product. However, in an abundance of caution, Del Monte Fresh is voluntarily recalling 63 cases of Roche Brothers labeled 3lb oval transparent Vegetable Tray containing - in addition to the voluntarily recalled grape tomatoes - a 8 oz Naturally Fresh ranch dip, baby carrots, celery and broccoli with UPC code 717524888013 (with ?Best If Used By? dates of: 4/23/2011, 4/24/2011, 4/26/2011, 4/27/2011, 4/28/2011, 4/30/20115/1/2011 and 5/3/2011) and 16 Oz transparent Veg. Mann?s Vegetable Platter WT 3.5 lbs was inadvertently omitted from the May 7, 2011 follow-up announcement. The item was listed on the primary announcement on May 2, 2011.

This recall is part of a larger recall initiated by Six L?s Packing (Immokalee, Fla) on April 29, 2011.
