A man died, in Victory, victim of influenza H3N2, which is caused by the same virus that causes influenza H1N1, the so-called Influenza A. The death happened on the 1st day of August and was confirmed by the Secretary of Health of capital, which disclosed the information this Tuesday (12). According to the secretariat, the victim was an adult man and had not been vaccinated against the disease, but the age and name were not disclosed. The Health Department also informed that those who took the vaccine against the Swine Flu is also protected from influenza H3N2 and vaccines are distributed for free at the health posts in the municipality.
