Egypt: Woman dies of H1N1 flu in Fayoum

Fayoum Health Directorate said a woman died of swine flu and another elderly man was admitted to a local hospital for the same reason.

According to Dr. Medhat Shokry, undersecretary of the Health Ministry in Fayoum, the woman was a 65-year-old housewife named Sayeda Abdel Baqi Mohamed.
She was admitted to Fayoum General Hospital on 5 July after suffering a high fever and was given Tamiflu for treatment.


?She had diabetes and chest allergies,? he added. ?We are examining her family as a precautionary measure.?
