وأشار تاج الدين، خلال الندوة التى نظمتها محافظة جنوب سيناء تحت عنوان?الوقاية من مرض أنفلونزا الخنازير?، أمس الأول، إلى أن الدول التى ظهر بها وباء أنفلونزا الخنازير بلغت ٨٠ دولة والحالات المصابة ٣٥ ألفاً، تم شفاء معظمها ولم يبق سوى ٢٠٠٠ حالة فى مرحلة العلاج، ووصلت نسبة الوفيات بها إلى ١%.

وطالب العاملون بالفنادق، خصوصاً الذين يتعاملون مع القمامة بارتداء القناع الواقى والكمامات الطبية، ومتابعة الحالات فى الفنادق وتطعيم المعتمرين والحجاج فى الموانئ والمطارات.
